Dominique McKay is a veteran communications professional with experience in media relations and content development. She deploys her detail-oriented strategic communications skills across issues and industries on behalf of Narrative’s clients, focusing on consistently delivering high-quality work. Dominique has a knack for thinking through problems and challenges from all sides and provides insightful strategic communications guidance and persuasive writing.
In addition to her time at Narrative, Dominique has extensive experience as a communicator on Capitol Hill. She served as the communications director for Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) and worked for Sen. John Thune (R-SD) in multiple roles, including as the Deputy Communications Director for the Office of the Senate Majority Whip and Press Secretary for the Senate Republican Conference Committee. Dominique also previously worked in communications for the House Committee on Education and the Workforce and former Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK).
She is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Communications, with specializations in journalism and the media. In her free time, Dominique enjoys reading and learning about national and global history and current affairs.
