Greg Blair

Content and Editorial Director

Greg Blair is a versatile public affairs professional with more than 16 years of experience developing succinct and persuasive messages. At Narrative, he has crafted messaging, content, and strategies for national public affairs campaigns, grassroots field programs, C-suite leaders, and advocacy organizations. Greg specializes in making complex challenges understandable, diving into technical issues to make them universal, and communicating in an expert voice that allows clients to break through the noise.

Greg is a founding member of Narrative and has a wide range of subject matter expertise that includes a depth of experience in financial services, tax and trade, and healthcare. As Content & Editorial Director, he emphasizes excellent writing as a core service, ensuring a high standard of written content across the firm. He recently led content development for a national grassroots campaign that engaged bipartisan state-level regulators nationwide and successfully staved off a regulation that threatened a client’s ability to operate. By enlisting reputable industry voices, elected officials, former regulators, and local leaders, the highly persuasive campaign successfully argued to its audience that the regulation carried significant and unforeseen risks.

Before joining Narrative, Greg was a spokesman and strategist for governors, national political committees, statewide candidates, members of Congress, and political campaigns ranging from local ballot initiatives to national elections overseas. Greg graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and earned a Master of Arts in American Government from Georgetown University. He is a dedicated but average golfer who lives in Orange County, California, with his wife, son, and three dogs.
